2015 John Jaeger Memorial School of the Ranger
23-25 January 2015 at Fort Frederick, MD
The 2015 School of the Ranger will be held at historical Fort Frederick, MD from 11:30 pm on Friday, 23 January to 12 pm on Sunday, 25 January 2015.
The School of the Ranger is the only annual school co-sponsored by Jaeger's Battalion and the Friends of Fort Frederick available to teach you ranging skills for your 18th century Ranger persona. The School's instructors are experts in their subject matter and are sure to help you improve your skills and impression for the campaign trail.
You must Preregister before 10 Jan 2015 to attend!
Cost includes all classes plus Friday dinner through Sunday breakfast meals. Saturday night dinner
will be a special Native American meal and should be special.
Barracks space is limited to the first 30 registrants, so register early to ensure your place! All others must sleep in their own tent. You may use a propane or wood burning heater in your tent. When you register, please let
us know if you intend to pitch a tent, and include any requirements for straw to stuff your tick.

Be sure to bring your firelock and round ball for the live fire on Friday! Standards for historic weapons use applies: (http://www.dnr.state.md.us/publiclands/pdfs/hw_standardsJuly2011.pdf). We will maintain 18th C. persona throughout the weekend.
If you are new to the hobby and do not have all your 18th c. gear, you are welcome to attend and learn what you need for this hobby.
