The 2017 School of the Ranger will be held at historical Fort Frederick, MD from 12:00 pm on Friday, 27 January to 12 pm on Sunday, 29 January 2017.

The School of the Ranger is co-sponsored by Jaeger's Battalion and the Friends of Fort Frederick. We will teach you ranging skills that will improve your 18th century Ranger persona, tactical abilities and field acumen. Our instructors are experts in their subject matter and are sure to help you improve your skills and impression for the campaign trail.

You must Preregister before 8 Jan 2017!

Cost: $60.00 

Cost includes classes plus Friday dinner through Sunday breakfast meals.

Barracks space is limited to the first 30 registrants, so register early to ensure your place! All others must sleep in their own tent.  You may use a propane or wood burning heater in your tent.  When you register, please let
us know if you intend to pitch a tent, and include any requirements for straw to stuff your tick.

If you are new to the hobby and do not have all your 18th c. gear, you are welcome to attend and learn what you need for this hobby.
